Global Health Media Inc. is an organization created by a group of Bangladeshi physicians based in the United States.

Reflecting on our communities, we observed that while there have been tremendous advances in the healthcare field, there has been little commensurate increase in access to this knowledge among everyday individuals. It is tragic that there are so many simple innovations that allow us to more effectively prevent disease, improve treatment efficacy, and increase access to healthcare, yet there are so few people who know of or can benefit from these gains.

To address this issue, we set out to establish an organization that provided members of the Bengali-speaking community, at home and abroad, access to critical information and innovations in addressing everyday healthcare needs. Noting a serious dearth of organizations serving this need and this community, we are motivated by a deep conviction that access to practical knowledge lies at the heart of overcoming the health challenges in our society.
